01Boss DS-1 Distortion
Primary gain source — amp set clean to avoid mud. DS-1 is grainier than an Uberschall but will get you in the ballpark for aggressive chunk.
The Uberschall is a high-gain monster with scooped mids and tight bass — the Cord Eg cannot replicate this alone. The DS-1 becomes your gain stage; the amp stays clean to prevent double-gain mush. The SG's humbuckers are lower output than Invaders, so DS-1 Dist at 8 compensates. Mids at 3 approximates the Uberschall scoop; treble at 7 adds the bite the DS-1 can lose.
