The Fireman HBE model on the MG-300 approximates the Bogner Uberschall's tight saturation. Gain at 7 is sufficient because the TS808 boost in front adds perceived tightness without mud. Mid at 4 gives the characteristic A7X scoop while keeping enough presence to cut through. Your SG humbuckers are slightly warmer than Synyster's Invaders so treble stays at 7 to compensate.
