Why these settings

The SP-10 is a 10-watt practice amp with only gain, bass, treble, and master — no mid, presence, or reverb knobs exist on this amp. It cannot produce high-gain saturation on its own, so the Behringer UM300 becomes the entire gain source while the amp stays near-clean (gain 3). The GE-7 compensates for the SP-10's small speaker by adding the 800Hz mid-punch characteristic of the Bogner Uberschall tone and rolling off harsh highs.

PRO TIPPalm-mute tightly right at the bridge saddles for that percussive A7X chug — the attack definition comes more from pick technique than extra gain. Your Jackson's pickups are hotter than stock Squiers, so if it feels muddy, drop the UM300 Distortion to 6.
