01NUX MG-30 Noise Gate (NG)
Place first in chain to clamp Drop C chugs
02NUX MG-30 Screamer (EFX Block)
Used as clean boost to cut flub and tighten attack before the amp
Because the Screamer block is driving the front end, keep the amp block gain down at 2-3 to prevent muddy double-gain clipping. The Pacifica bridge humbucker has lower passive output than the album's EMG 81s, so the TS Level is pushed up while mids are boosted to 7 to replicate the signature Andy Sneap 5150 punch. The tone is tracked dry with no room reverb.
