01Screamer (built-in Mustang effect)
Enable the Screamer stomp in the Mustang's effects — this tightens the low-end and adds pick attack like the original Maxon OD808
02Noise Gate (built-in Mustang effect)
Essential for tight palm mutes and eliminating noise between riffs
The Mustang LT25's Metal 2000 model approximates 5150-style high-gain. The original runs an OD808 as a clean boost to tighten the amp's low-end and add pick definition — the Mustang's built-in Screamer effect replicates this when set with low drive and high level. Gain at 7 rather than higher because the Screamer is already pushing the front end; the PRS SE 245's humbuckers are hotter than the original Ibanez pickups, so we compensate with slightly reduced gain and treble rolled back from 8 to 7.
