01Fuzz (Big Muff Pi or EHX Op-Amp Big Muff)
RECOMMENDED — not currently owned. The Coopersonic Valveslapper is a rare boutique pedal; a Big Muff-style fuzz with the tone rolled dark gets you 85% there. Without this pedal, the tone is fundamentally unobtainable.
The original uses a Vox AC30's mid-forward chime with fuzz in front. Your Blues Junior is naturally scooped and brighter, so I raised bass +2 and cut treble -3 vs AC30 settings to compensate. Amp gain stays low at 3 because the fuzz pedal provides all the dirt—the Blues Junior's job is to amplify it cleanly with heavy reverb. Without a fuzz pedal, you cannot replicate this tone; the amp's natural overdrive is too open and chimey.
