Why these settings

The original record relies heavily on the aggressive parametric mid-bite of a Boss MT-2 pushing a high-gain amp. On your Rage 158 without pedals, engage the Lead channel on the Modern voicing with gain at 8 to simulate the saturation, keeping the 8-inch speaker controlled by pulling mids to 4 and pushing bass to 8 for low-end weight. If you acquire a Metal Zone later, flip the amp to the Clean channel with gain at 2 and let the pedal generate the entire gain structure. Clean intro: flip to Clean channel with volume to taste.

PRO TIPTune down to C# Standard (C#-F#-B-E-G#-C#) with heavy-gauge strings (at least 11-52 or 12-56) and dig into the strings hard near the bridge to get that signature swampy sludge grind.
