RECOMMENDED — not currently owned. This is essential: the Twin Reverb stays clean at any volume, so the pedal provides the Marshall-style crunch. Set pedal gain moderate, level high to push the clean amp.
The Twin Reverb is a clean-headroom monster — it will not break up like a cranked Plexi no matter the volume. A TS-style pedal into the clean channel simulates the Schaffer's boost/compression hitting Marshall preamp tubes. Mid raised +1 vs original to compensate for Fender's scooped voicing. Treble dropped -2 because the Tele's bridge single-coil is much brighter and thinner than the SG's bridge humbucker; the TS's mid-hump helps thicken it further.
