The original Plexi settings were Gain 7, Bass 5, Mid 7, Treble 7, Presence 6. Your MG30CFX's OD1 channel approximates Plexi-style crunch but has a tighter, more scooped voicing than a real Plexi. I dropped bass by 1 (MG amps get boomy fast) and treble by 1 (the MG's solid-state treble is harsher than tube sparkle). Mid stays high at 7 to capture that vocal bark. Use OD1, not OD2 — OD2 is too saturated and loses the pick attack clarity that defines this tone.
