Why these settings

The Blast Agl-40 is an unrecognized amp model, so I've provided settings for universal controls only (gain, bass, treble, master). The original JCM800 tone relies heavily on the Big Muff for its saturated fuzz character — the amp itself was relatively clean underneath. Keep your amp gain LOW (3) to stay clean; the dirt must come from the recommended pedal. Without a Big Muff-style fuzz, this tone is not reachable.

PRO TIPThe verse chord stabs (C-G-Am-F as barre chords) are ALL downstrokes with aggressive palm-muting between each hit to get that tight 'chunk' — release the mute only on the chorus for the ringing, sustained wall of fuzz.
