Why these settings

Because the American Original 60s Strat has low-output vintage single-coils rather than Eddie's hot Gibson PAF humbucker, amp model gain is boosted to 8 and mids are pushed to compensate for the single-coil scooped profile. Treble is pulled back slightly to prevent the Strat's bridge pickup from sounding shrill against the high-gain Plexi emulation. Keep the Mooer GE100 phaser before the preamp stage to emulate Eddie running his MXR directly into the front of the cranked Marshall.

PRO TIPFor the signature tapping section, pick heavily close to the bridge to maximize upper-harmonic saturation, and use the side of your picking hand's index finger to lightly tap the frets directly over the wire for clean, ring-free note transitions.
