01Onboard Mod (Chorus)
Enable the Cambridge 50 onboard MOD section set to Chorus to capture Kenny Hickey's signature wide, cold modulation
The Vox Cambridge 50 faceplate features only Gain, Treble, Bass, and Volume controls (Middle and Presence are physically absent, hence set to null). To reproduce Hickey's massive Mesa Dual Rectifier rhythm sound, select the high-gain SL-OD model with gain pushed to 8 and bass set heavy at 8. Tame the Cambridge's top-end brightness with treble at 5 and roll the Ibanez tone knob down to 8 to simulate Type O's dark, crushing low-tuned weight. Clean/mellow sections: roll guitar volume back to 3-4 or tap the Cambridge preset down to the Deluxe CL voice.
