RECOMMENDED — not currently owned. Set delay time around 350-400ms with low repeats for rhythmic bounce. A Boss DD-3 or TC Electronic Flashback Mini would work.

Why these settings

The Stagg BA-20 is a basic solid-state practice amp without the AC30's Class A chime or Top Boost sparkle. I've pushed treble to 7 (vs the original's 8) because your Strat's single coils are already brighter than Halliday's Telecaster humbuckers, compensating for the amp's flatter voicing. Gain stays very low at 2 to keep the tone clean and articulate—the original has almost no breakup. Without a delay pedal, you'll lose the rhythmic bounce that defines this track; the built-in reverb at 3 adds some space but won't replicate that effect.

PRO TIPUse strict downstroke picking on the verse riff with your palm barely grazing the strings near the bridge—this creates the tight, percussive attack that makes the part pop. Roll your tone knob down to 6 during the bridge section for a slightly warmer, less cutting texture.
