Your Ibanez's ceramic humbuckers run hotter and brighter than Nono's PAF Les Paul, so I dropped treble from the original's 6-7 to 6 and pulled tone knob to 8 to tame the upper bite. The MG30FX lacks true power tube saturation, so gain sits at 7 to compensate—the real JCM800 got its dirt from volume, not preamp gain. Mids pushed to 8 because the MG series is naturally scooped compared to a JCM800's mid-forward voice.
