Use as a clean boost/EQ shaper only—Dist at 0. The Brown channel provides all the gain. This mimics the TS-into-5150 approach: tightens low end, adds midrange push without stacking distortion.

The Katana's Brown channel emulates the 5150's tight, aggressive midrange well. The ML-2 is a high-gain pedal, but running Dist at 0 turns it into a clean boost/EQ—this avoids the mud of double-gain stacking while still giving the low-end tightening effect of a TS in front.
