Use as a CLEAN BOOST only - Dist at 0, Level pushed. This tightens the low end and adds pick attack into the already-gained Brown channel. Do NOT stack distortion from this pedal with amp gain.

Why these settings

Your Jackson's ceramic humbuckers are hotter and brighter than Heafy's Epiphone PAF-style pickups, so I pulled treble back slightly from what a Les Paul would need. The Katana's Brown channel lacks the 5150's brutal low-mid tightness, so the ML-2 at zero dist acts as a boost to firm up the palm mutes. Mids at 4 give the characteristic Sneap-mixed scoop without losing note definition.

PRO TIPThe secret to Heafy's rhythm tone on this track is picking hand precision—anchor your palm right at the bridge saddles for maximum tightness, and use downstrokes on the chugging sections even at speed. The tone is 50% in the attack consistency.
