Why these settings

The 2005 Sneap production relies on a Peavey 5150 II pushed by an OD808 with the gain zeroed to tighten the flub. On the Spider V MkII, select the PV Panama model, pull the amp gain back to 6 to prevent the Line 6 high-gain fizz from washing out fast riffing, and engage the internal Screamer boost with Drive at 0. Your Schecter humbuckers will provide plenty of punch, so keep bass around 5 to avoid muddying fast alternate picking in Drop D.

PRO TIPAnchor your right hand hard on the bridge for palm mutes, striking aggressively right next to the bridge saddles to get that signature sharp, percussive metalcore thud without blurring the low-end definition.
