Used strictly as a subtle dirt/grit shaper (Drive kept very low to avoid losing low-end fundamental); run direct into Hartke input
The Hartke HD15 uses a clean 3-band EQ and an aluminum/paper HyDrive speaker that delivers plenty of natural high-end clack. We use the Joyo Extreme Metal at near-minimum drive (2/10) to emulate the gritty Scott Burns Morrisound console saturation without blowing out your low end. Mids are boosted on both the pedal and amp to cut through heavy downtuned rhythm guitars.
