Why these settings

Original JCM800 is mid-forward with preamp grind; Twin Reverb is scooped, clean, and bright with a high treble shelf. Pushed mid +1, dropped treble -1.5 to counter the Twin's natural brightness and scoop. Your Strat single coils are brighter and lower output than the original Les Paul humbuckers, so bass +1 and tone knob rolled to 6 to warm up the attack. Gain stays low—this track barely breaks up and the Twin won't crunch anyway at reasonable volumes.

PRO TIPDean DeLeo voiced chords in inversions rather than barre shapes for wider voicing—try the arpeggio fingerings up the neck around the 7th-9th frets rather than open position to match the recorded width and clarity.
