Why these settings

The Global GA-15M is an entry-level practice amp with a 2-band EQ (no mid control, no presence), so mid and presence are omitted. Keep bass capped at 6 to prevent the small 6.5-inch speaker from farting out on low-tuned palm mutes while pushing the drive channel gain to 8 for maximum available crunch. An external high-gain pedal will dramatically improve saturation and tightness when added later.

PRO TIPTune down to Drop A (A-E-A-D-F#-B) with heavy gauge strings and use aggressive, firm palm muting right against the bridge saddles to get that percussive mechanical chug.
