The NUX Mighty 20 MKII's high-gain Fireman/Lead models are naturally warm and compressed, so mid and presence are pushed to 7 while bass is kept at 5 to prevent modern 8-string tuning frequencies from flubbing out on an 8-inch practice speaker. Running the built-in Screamer with zero drive and high level tightens the low-mid response, compensating for the passive IBZ-6 humbuckers on the GRG121DX compared to IV's active Fishman Fluence pickups. Reverb is set strictly to 0 to keep the rhythm tracks dry and punchy.
