Loso amp settings — Kokko Kokko kg10
The Sek Loso guitar tone for “Loso”, dialed in for a Kokko Kokko kg10 with a Benston Benston stratrocaster. Studio version, Rock & Roll album (1999/2000), recorded at Mor Music Studio
Sek Loso used Gibson Les Paul / Fender Stratocaster guitars, Marshall JCM800/900 series amps — heavily influenced by Guns N' Roses, Rolling Stones, and Jimi Hendrix tones. Classic late 90s Thai rock production with British-voiced crunch.

01Overdrive Pedal (RECOMMENDED — TS-style or Boss SD-1)
RECOMMENDED — not currently owned. The Kokko KG10 is a small practice amp with limited gain; a TS-style overdrive in front will provide the Marshall crunch character this tone requires. Run into amp set near-clean.
The Kokko KG10 is a basic solid-state practice amp with only gain, bass, treble, and volume controls — no mid, presence, or reverb knobs exist on this unit. The original Marshall JCM tone has strong mid-push and power-amp saturation that this amp cannot replicate alone. With gain at 6 and treble at 6, you get the amp's maximum useful crunch without fizz; an external overdrive pedal is essential to reach the proper saturation level. Your Strat-style single coils are brighter and lower-output than Sek's Les Paul humbuckers, so treble is kept moderate.
