Why these settings

The C Giant M-20 is an unrecognized budget practice amp — it likely has only Gain, Bass, Treble, and Volume controls with no mid, presence, or channel switching. Satyr's tone uses high-gain heads into 4x12 cabs; this small solid-state amp cannot reach that saturation level. Gain is maxed to extract whatever distortion exists, bass kept high for weight, treble pushed for the characteristic black metal buzz. Without a distortion pedal, this is the closest approximation — expect a thinner, less saturated result.
