Why these settings

The Katana's Brown channel emulates a modded Marshall—close to Rectifier aggression but less scooped. I dropped mids to 4 (Rectifier territory) and pushed treble to 7 for the biting attack Refused gets. Your Jackson's high-output humbuckers match their ESP setup well, so gain at 8 delivers without mud. The Dapper's OD section as a boost tightens the low end the way Refused's techs run a TS into their Mesas.

PRO TIPTune to Drop D (DADGBE) as shown in the tabs. For the palm-muted chug sections, anchor your picking hand hard against the bridge saddles—Refused's tightness comes from extremely consistent muting pressure, not just gain. Dial back your attack slightly on the open chord stabs to let them breathe against the chugs.
