Why these settings

Original was a Marshall 50-watt with ES-335 semi-hollow humbuckers. Spider Crunch channel approximates JCM800 voicing. Your Charvel's hotter ceramic humbuckers push harder than the PAF-style 335 pickups, so gain drops from 5.5 to 5. Mid raised +1 to 7 to recover the mid-forward bark the Spider naturally scoops. Treble cut -1 because the Charvel bridge humbucker is brighter than an ES-335. No pedals needed—the amp's Crunch channel delivers this moderate-gain tone directly.

PRO TIPRoll your guitar volume to 7-8 for the verses to clean up the crunch, then back to 10 for the harder sections—Lifeson's ES-335 was extremely touch-sensitive and he used volume dynamics constantly.
