Why these settings

The Frontman 15G lacks a dedicated mid knob, presence, and onboard reverb, so mid and presence are omitted to match the faceplate. We use the amp's built-in drive channel at gain 7 with boosted treble to mimic the aggressive plugin attack while pulling bass down to 4 to prevent the small 8-inch speaker from flubbing out on fast staccato runs. This analog practice amp will sound rougher and fizzier than the hyper-compressed digital studio track, but gives the closest possible playable saturation today without external gear.
