Why these settings

The Kadence GA-10 is a basic solid-state practice amp with a 2-band EQ (no dedicated mid or presence controls), so mid and presence are set to null. Engage the onboard drive switch and push gain to 7 to approximate Morello's JCM800 saturation. Because the Strat-style single-coil bridge pickup is brighter and thinner than Tom's EMG humbucker, keep bass at 6 and roll treble slightly down to 7 to prevent harsh fizzy highs.

PRO TIPTune your low E string down to D (Drop D) and strike aggressively with heavy downstrokes near the bridge to get the signature percussive clack and tight low-end snap of the main riff.
