Why these settings

Tom Morello notoriously set his JCM800 2205 Boost channel with Gain at 10, Bass at 10, Mid at 10, and Treble around 7. Because your Les Paul Junior's single P-90 pickup has thicker, grittier midrange and sharper upper-mids than a neck Telecaster, dial back the M-VAVE MK 300's Treble to 6 and Tone knob to 8 to avoid harsh bite while keeping the massive mid bark intact. Keep presence minimal as Morello kept presence nearly off (around 1-2).

PRO TIPFor the heavy drop-D intro riff, attack the low strings aggressively right near the bridge to maximize harmonic bite and percussive crunch without relying on extra preamp fuzz.
