CRITICAL — the Rangemaster is essential to May's tone; use the cleanest boost/overdrive model on the Pod Express placed BEFORE the amp model. Set it bright with moderate gain to push the AC30 model into saturation. Without this, the tone will lack the signature harmonic sparkle.

Why these settings

Your Mustang's single coils are brighter and lower output than May's series-wired Red Special, so I dropped treble by 1 and pushed gain +1 to compensate for the output difference. The Pod Express AC30 model runs cooler than a real cranked AC30, so the internal boost block is mandatory to replicate the Rangemaster's harmonic push—without it you'll get clean chime instead of creamy drive.
