The CST-24's humbuckers provide extra thickness compared to single-coils, so we run the neck pickup with tone slightly rolled back to emulate Brian May's singing, vocal attack without getting muddy. On the Harley Benton 40MFX, the UK 30 model captures the Class A chime, pushed into high saturation to compensate for the absence of an external treble booster. Bass is trimmed to 4 to prevent low-end flub on fast runs while mids are pushed to 8 for that signature vocal cut.
