Why these settings

The EX-84 humbuckers provide more natural midrange and output than Gilmour's single-coil Strat, so mids are set to 7 on the Katana's Lead channel with treble kept at 5 to avoid harshness. Because you own no external pedals, the Katana's onboard Booster block in Muff Fuzz mode provides the thick sustain, paired with the onboard delay for the Binson Echorec repeats. Katana 50 MkII has no physical presence knob, so presence is null.

PRO TIPUse aggressive, wide vibrato and full two-step bends with the meat of your picking hand's thumb grazing the string slightly on attack to emulate Gilmour's signature singing pinch harmonics.
