Why these settings

The VT120+ is a modeling amp, so we use its onboard UK 25TH voice pushed by the onboard Big Fuzz block to recreate Gilmour's classic Ram's Head into Hiwatt lead tone. The Washburn X10 bridge pickup provides strong attack, so rolling the guitar tone to 8 and keeping treble at 5 tames high-end harshness to deliver a smooth, violin-like sustain. First solo switch: drop the fuzz drive slightly and select the neck pickup.

PRO TIPPick firmly near the bridge and incorporate wide, slow 1.5-step string bends with steady finger vibrato applied only at the peak of the bend to replicate Gilmour's expressive vocal phrasing.
