Why these settings

The Katana 100 MkII uses the Lead amp type with gain at 7 to recreate the singing Big Muff saturation natively since an external fuzz is not owned. The Jazzmaster bridge pickup is inherently brighter and wider-range than Gilmour's overwound DiMarzio FS-1 Strat pickup, so the tone knob is rolled back to 7 and Katana treble is kept neutral at 5 to prevent harsh upper-mid bite. Presence is dialed to 4 to retain top-end air without introducing solid-state fizz.
