Why these settings

Your Twin Reverb is actually close to Gilmour's clean platform—both are loud, clean American amps. The Hiwatt is slightly tighter in the low-mids, so I've set bass at 6 rather than higher to avoid flub. The built-in Twin reverb substitutes for some studio ambiance, but without a Uni-Vibe, you will only achieve a clean Strat tone—the song's identity IS the modulation.

PRO TIPGilmour's expressive magic on this track comes from slow, wide finger vibrato applied AFTER bending to pitch—let the note settle, then add vibrato. Roll your tone knob down to 6 for that syrupy neck-pickup warmth, and dig in with your pick near the neck for a softer attack.
