Essential for the Floods solo shimmer — moderate depth, slow rate for lush movement without warble

~300-350ms delay, moderate repeats — creates the spacious, atmospheric quality

Why these settings

Your Strat's single-coil neck pickup is brighter and lower output than Dimebag's humbucker, so I pushed mids +1 and rolled treble -2 vs original Randall settings to compensate for the thinner voice. Gain is dropped to 6 (vs original ~8) because the Spider's Insane channel runs hotter than the Randall solid-state. Roll your tone knob to 6 to tame the Strat's ice-pick highs and approximate the '59 humbucker's warmth.

PRO TIPDimebag's vibrato on this solo is wide and vocal — use your wrist, not your fingers, and let notes sustain into the delay/reverb wash before adding vibrato. The magic is in the space between notes, not speed.
