Why these settings

The Digitech RP100 provides the heavily saturated high-gain distortion and ambient delays, so the Sheldon GT 1200 is set clean with gain at 2 to avoid muddy double-gain. Dimebag's signature tone relies on an aggressive upper-mid bite combined with scooped lower mids, so mid frequencies are pulled back while keeping treble high. Because the Sheldon amp is an unrecognized unit, standard controls are provided with unverified knobs nulled.

PRO TIPDimebag's singing sustain and screaming harmonics in the Floods solo come from aggressive vibrato and hitting pinch harmonics with the edge of the pick close to the bridge pickup.
