01Chorus (any analog-style chorus)
RECOMMENDED — not currently owned. Essential for the shimmering quality of this solo. A Boss CE-5 or TC Electronic Corona would work. If your Raven has built-in modulation, use a slow, medium-depth chorus.
02Delay (digital or analog)
RECOMMENDED — not currently owned. Set around 350-400ms with moderate repeats. Boss DD-7 or similar. If your Raven has built-in delay, use that with these relative settings.
The Raven RG200 is a solid-state practice amp with less headroom and a tighter low-end than Dimebag's Randall RG-100ES. I pushed bass +0.5 from the original's 6.5 to compensate for the smaller speaker's reduced low-end response. Mids stay scooped at 3 — this is the Dimebag signature. Your Solar's hot humbuckers approximate the L-500XL output well, so gain stays at 7. Without chorus and delay pedals, you will not achieve this tone — those effects are 40% of the sound.
