Why these settings

To compensate for the Fender Player Strat's single-coil bridge pickup compared to Dimebag's ultra-hot Bill Lawrence L-500XL humbucker, the Tube Man overdrive block drives the Fireman model hard with high level and low drive. The post-amp 6-Band EQ recreates Dime's scooped 630Hz mid notch while boosting 1.6kHz and 4kHz for that piercing, surgical Randall attack. The tone knob is pulled slightly to 8 to round off harsh single-coil glass while keeping the harmonics singing.

PRO TIPFor the soaring squeals in the solo, dig your pick edge deep into the string alongside your thumb flesh for aggressive pinch harmonics, and use a wide, slow left-hand vibrato to sustain through the delay trails.
