RECOMMENDED — not currently owned. A Boss CE-5 or TC Electronic Corona would get you there. Dimebag used subtle chorus to widen the solo.

RECOMMENDED — not currently owned. A Boss DD-3 or similar digital delay. Set around 350-400ms with moderate repeats for the singing sustain.

Why these settings

The Duonic is an IEM/practice unit with limited amp modeling depth compared to the Randall's raw solid-state aggression. Push gain to 8 to compensate for lower output and saturation. Your Vault EA20 likely has ceramic humbuckers with less output than Dimebag's Bill Lawrence L-500XL — the neck pickup at tone 7 will smooth the highs for that singing quality. Without chorus and delay pedals, you will lose the spatial width that defines this solo.

PRO TIPDimebag played this solo with deliberate vibrato and let notes breathe — don't rush the phrasing. Roll your tone knob down to 6-7 on the sustained bends to get that vocal, crying quality on the climax notes.
