Why these settings

The Frontman 25R is set clean with low gain because the KOKKO Distortion provides all saturation — stacking amp gain would create undefined mud. Mids pushed to 7 to compensate for Fender's scooped voicing vs Dimebag's mid-forward Randall. Your Strat's single-coil neck pickup is brighter and lower output than Dime's L-500XL humbucker, so tone knob rolled to 6 and pedal tone at 4 to tame ice-pick highs. Volume at 7 cleans up the attack slightly for that singing sustain.

PRO TIPDimebag doubled the opening arpeggiated melody on the recording — if practicing, loop yourself playing it once, then play over it for that thick layered sound.
