Dimebag's signature attack relies on solid-state clipping pushed by surgical pre- and post-distortion EQ scooping 800Hz to 1kHz while pushing extreme highs. On the NUX Mighty 20BT Mk2, use the high-gain Metal Lead voice with mid cut down to 2 and treble pushed to 8 to mimic the Randall RG100ES top-end sizzle. The V8 bridge humbucker on your RG550 provides the sharp, tight attack needed to lock in the rhythm chugs.
