Why these settings

The Mooer Hornet is a budget modeling amp with less headroom and gain saturation than the Randall RG100H solid-state. Compensate by maxing gain and pushing treble +1 over typical settings because the Hornet's voicing is darker. The HB RX-10's ceramic humbuckers are hotter and muddier than the Bill Lawrence XL500, so mids are dropped to 2 (vs Dime's amp setting of 3) to maintain the characteristic scoop. Without the external EQ pedals Dime used, you will lack the extreme high-frequency boost that gave his tone its 'chainsaw' edge—the recommended GE-7 addresses this.
