Why these settings

The Katana 50 MkII uses the Lead voice with Variation enabled to recreate the fast, hard-clipping attack of Dimebag's solid-state Randall RG100H. Pulling the physical mid knob down to 2 mimics the aggressive pre-amp scoop of the Furman PQ-3 and MXR EQ, while pushing bass and treble provides the razor-sharp percussive bite. To compensate for the Pacifica's moderate-output Alnico V bridge humbucker versus Dime's high-output Bill Lawrence L500XL, gain is pushed to 8.

PRO TIPUse heavy palm-muting right against the bridge saddles and pick with a stiff 1.0mm+ tortex pick tilted slightly forward to match Dimebag's percussive, surgical string attack.
