Katana Brown channel mimics the Randall's saturated gain structure. Original used dual parametric/graphic EQs to create an extreme V-scoop (100Hz/3.2kHz boosted, 800Hz slashed); compensated by maxing Katana bass, dropping mid to 2, and setting treble to 8 (not 10) to avoid digital harshness. Jackson's humbuckers are lower output than Bill Lawrence XL500s, so gain stays maxed at 10. Presence at 10 replicates the original's 10 presence setting for upper-mid bite.
