Why these settings

Your Strat's single coils are significantly lower output and brighter than Dime's hot Bill Lawrence L-500XL humbucker. Compensate by using the Brown amp type (Marshall-voiced high gain), engaging the Boost for extra saturation, dropping treble from Dime's maxed 10 to 8, and raising bass +1. The Katana's Brown channel gets close to solid-state Randall aggression. Mid stays scooped at 3 per the original. A humbucker-equipped guitar would get you closer without working as hard.

PRO TIPDime's right-hand attack was extremely precise and percussive — pick hard, right at the bridge, with the pick angled slightly. This aggressive picking is half the tone; without it, even perfect settings sound weak.
