Because the Behringer Acoustic is a clean, full-range platform, the entire Marshall JCM800 tone stack, speaker emulation, and drive staging must run directly inside the ToneLab EX. The Eko ST100 has passive single-coil pickups compared to Zakk's hot active EMG 81, so the ToneLab's amp gain and overdrive level are bumped up to compensate for lower guitar output.
