Why these settings

Rhoads kept his Marshall at slight overdrive and used the MXR Distortion+ for grit — replicate this by keeping amp gain LOW (4) and using the Code's distortion pedal as the main gain stage. The original tone's signature is the massive 500Hz mid boost from his 10-band EQ; compensate by pushing mids to 8 on the Code. Your Jackson's hot humbuckers approximate his Les Paul output well.

PRO TIPRhoads triple-tracked his solos (center + hard L/R at lower volume) and the recording used room mics for ambience — add the Code's Room reverb at 2 to simulate that Ridge Farm stone room character without washing out the attack.
