To emulate Mikael's thick PRS neck-humbucker lead through your bright Squier Stratocaster single coils, the treble is trimmed down to 4 and your guitar tone knob is backed off to 6 to eliminate glassy bite. Selecting the DELUXE CL model provides clean warmth and dynamic headroom without harsh solid-state clipping.

PRO TIPPick smoothly near the 12th fret using the rounded edge or shoulder of a heavy pick (1.0mm+) to soften the pick attack and achieve Mikael's signature liquid, flute-like phrasing.
