Why these settings

The original is a pure acoustic recording—no electric guitar was used. Your SG's humbuckers are the opposite of an acoustic's piezo/natural resonance. Rolling the tone knob to 3 removes the harsh upper harmonics; neck pickup gives the warmest base. The Nux Acoustic amp helps, but without an acoustic simulator pedal, you will get a clean electric tone, not an acoustic tone. This is an honest limitation of the gear pairing.

PRO TIPPlay with your pick closer to the neck (over the fretboard) rather than near the bridge—this softens the attack and mimics the rounder transient of an acoustic guitar's soundhole position. If your Nux has any built-in acoustic modeling or 'body' EQ, engage it.
