Why these settings

Your Selder Strat's single-coil neck pickup is brighter and thinner than Cobain's PAF humbucker, so I rolled tone to 5 and bumped mid +1 to compensate for the lost warmth. The Singer 100 is a practice amp with limited headroom — keep gain low and let the Ge100's distortion do the heavy lifting on chorus sections. The Ge100's chorus won't have the exact Small Clone depth, so max out the depth parameter.

PRO TIPPick closer to the neck and use your thumb-side flesh for the verse riff — Cobain's attack was soft and deliberate on this track, not aggressive. The muted, pillowy pick attack is half the tone.
